The seventh annual “Family Fun at the Beach” event at Quincy’s Wollaston Beach will be held on Saturday, August 8th 12 noon to 8 p.m. This free kid friendly event is sponsored by the Life Community Church in Quincy. All are welcome to attend.

Carnival games, face-painting, inflatable jumpers, crafts and balloon-making are just some of the activities planned for the event. Food can be purchased from vendors and local restaurants.

There will be a outdoor movie on the beach of Disney’s “Big Hero 6” at sunset. Families are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the movie.

Registration will also be open for the Life Community Church’s “Super Summer Kids Week,” a free camp for children entering kindergarten through fifth grade. The camp will be held during the week of Aug. 10.
