Mark Bollman, entrepreneur and founder of Ball and Buck, established the pop-up market in 2012 with a mission to spotlight quality American brands and to connect the consumer directly with the visionaries behind them.
“Celebrating the 5th anniversary of American Field Boston this September, we’re proud to have built a fast growing platform for quality American brands in our home base.
Boston is a city rich in creativity and innovation, which perfectly captures the spirit of American Field.
We're excited to continue to support American makers and increase awareness of local production for many years to come.” - Mark Bollman, Founder
The Innovation Design Building (IDB) is one of the most iconic buildings in Boston’s thriving Seaport.
As a burgeoning hub for incubation known for supporting and showcasing the manufacturing industry, the IDB has been renovated over the past couple of years to attract industries that are pioneering the innovation economy, prioritizing American-made manufacturing and molding the workplace of the future.
It is home to traditional manufacturers, as well as new economy manufacturers, who are making and creating goods right on site, from textiles to bicycles.
American Field offers consumers a distinctive shopping experience connecting them directly with founders and craftspeople.
Only at the event can mindful shoppers be outfitted from head to toe, literally, in Made in USA clothing while taste-testing local food and beverages.
Participating brands include American-Field favorites like Bollman Hat Company, Brothers Artisan Oil and American Trench, along with brand new additions like Bulleit Sailormade, Thorn & Bloom, Katherine Zeren and many more.
American Field will take place on the seventh floor of the IDB, 25 Drydock Avenue, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
