The Archaeology Fair will feature a variety of archaeologically-themed programs and interactive activities designed and presented by archaeologists, educators, and other specialists for the whole family.
Attendees will be able to explore multiple aspects of archaeology and participate in activities involving pottery, tool making, shipwrecks, and much more!
Also, become a part of the world-wide festivity, International Archaeology Day, encouraging everyone to indulge their inner Indiana Jones and be an archaeologist, either right here in Boston for Massachusetts Archaeology Month, or across the world!
The ever popular annual fair continues to grow every year thanks to museums, institutions, and volunteers who share their passion for archaeology with the public.
This year’s presenters include the Archaeological Institute of America, Boston National Historical Park, Diablo Glass School, Historic New England, Legio III Cyrenaica, Museum of Science, Plimouth Plantation, The Public Archaeology Laboratory Inc., and others!
The event is free with Museum of Science admission and will be fun and educational for all ages.
This is your chance to dig into archaeology and uncover the past!
