Attendees will learn more about the links between college, careers, and income in a safe space and be able to ask questions, share concerns, and learn from one another.
College & Career Conversations will feature workshops tailored for middle and high school students in addition to parent/guardian sessions on financial aid and first generation student experiences.
The evening will begin with dinner and a keynote presentation.
After, students will attend either a middle or high school workshop while parents/guardians will attend:
'Supporting your Child’s Future Aspirations & Career Pathways'
'Higher Ed 101 (Visiting Campuses & Fit)' or 'College for First Generation & Immigrant Students Panel'
Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available for the keynote & parent workshops.
Families can then attend a resource fair featuring local Boston and Cambridge partners.
