This family-friendly event is being organized through a collaboration of Mastermind Adventures, Rivendell Books and Games.
It is open to individuals of all ages who enjoy board games, game tournaments and more.
This year's game fest will feature a special focus for families, including instructional board game tables, a 'Kids Con' with Pokemon and Magic the Gathering tournaments, and a cos-play contest.
For game enthusiasts of all levels, activities include open board gaming with over 500 games, a variety of game tournaments like X-Wing, HeroClix and scrabble, card tournaments like Magic the Gathering, demos role playing games and other organized play.
The goal of the festival is to promote face to face play, encourage community connections, give an opportunity to game designers, artists and others to showcase their work, to celebrate board gaming and to introduce new people of all ages to the hobby.
