Rain date: Sunday, August 12 from 6-10pm.

Pikliz International Kitchen, Casa B, Cantina La Mexicana, Union Square Pizza, El Mineirao, Machu Chicken, Tasty Momo, Bao Nation, Siam Ginger, 7ate9 Bakery, In Season, Gracie’s Ice Cream, and the Arts Council’s Nibble Culinary Entrepreneurs.
Fire Square Performance Area (in the Union Square Plaza parking lot):

6:30 PM Food Demonstrations from four local chefs
7:30 PM Asociación Carnavalesca de Massachusetts
7:50 PM Ideas, Not Theories Bicycle Orchestra
8:50 PM Boston Circus Guild Fire Performance
9:20 PM DJ Flack & dance party
Tiger Head Performance Area (in Union Square Plaza):
Poetry by Tim Hall, magic and more from Jungle Jim, Xuchipili Folkloric Ballet, and performances by Robson Leemos and Violin Viv.
Food Court (the parking lot behind the Independent restaurant):
Music by Tarciso Alves Forró Band from 6:30-8:30 PM, a WildEye photobooth, and foodcourt seating.
Throughout the festival:
The Somerville Flea is curating a mini artisan market - check out vintage goods and handmade items!
Intercambio presents Global Warming, magician Bob Filene’s “Magic for Smart People,” caricatures, face painting, tarot card reading, and much more!
Road Closures:
Walk, bike or take public transport if at all possible!
Two travel lanes on Somerville Ave.
between Prospect and Webster, closest to the plaza, will be closed to traffic.
The outside two lanes will accommodate two-way traffic.
