Friday, August 6th, is the official kick-off of Tisbury's 350th Anniversary Celebration that includes more vendors, a new lineup of music, restaurant specials, sidewalk sales, food trucks, a special 'meet our island nonprofits' and local oyster bar, and more!

Schedule of Events in Vineyard Haven
4-7 pm Main Street
Take a stroll down Main Street to shop local stores, sidewalk sales, and pop-up art and craft booths that showcase the best of Martha's Vineyard artisans, including Althea Miller Designs and Island Naturals.
Local restaurants offer fantastic dining experiences and take-out as local musicians perform streetside.
Island nonprofits will be on hand with interactive games for kids-of-all ages hosted by the Martha's Vineyard Nonprofit Collaborative, including an oyster bar by MV Shellfish Group, MV Seafood Collaborative to kick off the Martha’s Vineyard Oyster Fest.
7-9 pm Owen Park
Music on the 'Barge'!
Dance and picnic while enjoying the tunes of local bands and musicians.
And...enjoy local Food Trucks from El Gato Grande, Yommi, Katama Brewing, and a good' old BBQ and bonfire by the Tisbury Fire Department.
9-11 pm Silent Disco with DJ Red I Jedi Tune in to great tunes and dance the night away.
First Friday is a community-based festival, aims to bring the Island together to celebrate Vineyard Haven's local identity, art, culture, music, commerce, and maritime history.
The event takes place the first Friday of July-October, with special events for the holidays and charitable causes.
