The Kindness Collaborative (TKC), in coordination with the Andover/North Andover YMCA, announce The Great Give event.Held rain or shine, the event pairs a day of giving for several local non-profits, with FREE ice cream and activities for families.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to support your community and local non-profits with much needed donations while having fun with your family by listening to live music, enjoying ice cream and participating in the many kids activities,” says Alex Bromberg, Executive Director of The Kindness Collaborative..
“It’s also a great way to show your kids the impact of spreading kindness within your community by bringing items to donate.”
The event supports several local non-profits, including the Community Giving Tree, the Merrimack Valley Dream Center , Ruth’s House, and Partner’s in Child Development, by asking for donations of food pantry staples, new kids’ pajamas, new/gently used winter kids’ coats, baby bath items, kids’ books, and adult winter hats cloves and hand warmers.
“The cold weather is coming and this is a great time to support those nonprofits who help so many people,” adds Danielle Tjalsma, Marketing and Operations Director, The Kindness Collaborative.
