Saturday fun for all ages this street festival has something for everyone. Crafts, jewelry, paintings, stained glass, and other unique items will be featured along the Essex Pedestrian Mall. Street performers, face painters, and strolling musicians will entertain crowds Also junior Triathletes come compete in Salem's youth triathlon.

Come watch this Korean martial art, which literally means 'The Art of Hand and Foot' or come see the Salem Arts Association presents Freeze Frame: Shake, Rattle & Roll. Also Berklee students Manami Morita perform. The “Berklee Summer Series” and Spaghetti-and-meatball meals will be delivered to homebound seniors .

Sunday come test your endurance or just watch our triathletes swim, bike and run. The event starts and finishes at Forest River Park for the YMCA Witch City Triathlon. Afterwards come walk Essex Street Fair and come watch The Nat Simpkins Band featuring Henri Smith at Derby Square and The Boston Horns, at the Museum Place Mall fountain.

Join the Phillips House and the North Shore Old Car Club to see vintage and antique cars on historic Chestnut Street and come see the Salem Theatre Company Free Outdoor Performance. A free picnic and concert will also be held for Salem seniors.

Haunted City 'Junior' Triathlon Fee: $25 (pre-registration) $35 (post registration). YMCA Witch City Triathlon Entry fee: $55 individual member of USA Triathlon; $65 individual non-member of USA Triathlon; $90 team entry.

From the North
Travel either Rt. 93 South or Rt. 95 South to Rt. 128, then take Rt.128 N to Exit 25A. Stay on 114 East, following signs for Downtown Salem.
From the West / South
Take Rt.128 North to Exit 25A. Follow signs for Rt.114 East through Peabody into downtown Salem (Riley Plaza).At main intersection, with Post Office on right, remain in middle lane and continue straight thru lights on to New Derby Street. Follow thru one set of lights (fire station on left), onto Derby St. and at following intersection - -with South Harbor parking garage on right corner - take right onto Congress St
