Maynard Community Farmer’s Market, Maynard, MA, located in the Clock Tower Place Parking Lot by the Mill Pond on Main Street (RT. 62) near Sudbury Street.
The Maynard Community Farmer’s Market meets each Saturday from 9 am until 1 pm through the summer until the first week of October. Conveniently located in Downtown Maynard, the market features a wide selection of locally grown fruits, vegetables and flowers, plus baked goods and other special items. In addition to those foods for the body usually found at a Farmer’s Market, the Maynard Market also offers food for the spirit and food for the soul. And better still, this food is free!
On Saturday, August 16, Massage Therapists Nancy and Barry Bailey will be present at the Maynard Farmers’ Market offering free table massages and tips on effective methods for relaxation, stress reduction and pain relief. Look for the Bailey Therapeutic Massage tent and massage table.
At 10 am Barry Bailey, Massage Therapist and Stretching Instructor/Coach from Maynard, will offer a free “Introduction to Active Stretching” Talk and Mini Class. This will take place either on the walk by the Clock Tower Place Mill Pond or on the grass by Main Street. For your comfort, bring a portable chair, blanket, exercise mat or beach towel to sit on.
At Noon, Barry Bailey will present a talk “Wellness and Basic Techniques of Self-Healing” at the STAR Tech® Healing booth. Learn simple things you can do to improve your health and wellness without using drugs and other drastic, expensive measures. Bring a portable chair or you can stand during the presentation.
Nancy and Barry will return to the Maynard Community Farmer’s Market September 20th when they will repeat the August offerings.
