Winchester Community Music School invites you to MusicFest 2008. MusicFest is a free event for all ages to celebrate music with performances, fun musical activities, demo classes, an instrument petting zoo, and much more! All activities will take place on Sunday, September 7 from 1-4 p.m., rain or shine, at the “Home for Music” located at 407 Highland Avenue, Winchester.

Join us for jazz and rock performances in our outdoor concert tent, classical and cabaret music in our recital hall, and stop into the music appreciation lecture, group keyboard classroom, computer music lab, and kid’s music class demonstrations. A resource room will be open with information on all WCMS activities for the fall semester.

Kids of all ages will enjoy a visit to the Instrument Petting Zoo. The Zoo offers the opportunity for hands-on exploration of different types of musical instruments. Young children can also participate in a musical scavenger hunt.

You can visit the School's music book and record sale. Peruse our tables filled with a wide variety of LPs and music books. All sale proceeds benefit the Dinneen Scholarship Fund.
