After a very successful debut year, Monday Night Movie Magic is back and better than ever. Presented by arsenalARTS and the Watertown Children’s Theatre (WCT), this series is more than just seeing a movie – it’s an interactive experience for the entire family. This year’s selected films are all WINNERS. They are Charlotte’s Web (July 12), Shrek (August 2), and Annie (August 23).

Be sure to arrive early for pre-show fun, including sing-a-longs and costume parades. WCT’s Peyton Pugmire will act as emcee. Pre-show activities begin at 6:30pm and movies at 7:00pm. The Arsenal Center for The Arts is located at 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. Tickets are $9/adults, $7/children (additional $2 for online purchase). Annie (1982) – Monday August 23, 2010
The Oscar nominated musical adaptation of the Broadway hit. The story follows a plucky orphan named Annie (Aileen Quinn) as she is rescued from the clutches of her evil caretaker Miss Hannigan (Carol Burnett) by the secretary (Ann Reinking) of a crusty billionaire, Daddy Warbucks (Albert Finney). Warbucks agrees to help her find her long-lost parents but Annie’s life is put in danger when a pair of con-artists (Tim Curry and Bernadette Peters) collude with Miss Hannigan (Burnett) to nab the reward offered by Warbucks. Memorable songs including 'Tomorrow.' Produced by Columbia Pictures.
