Each summer Friends of Ballard Park hosts outdoor movie screening reminiscent of the days of the drive-in... only its totally green - no cars or gas needed and lots of green space! Movie goers are invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair and picnic dinner to Ballard Park's three acre quarry meadow and enjoy a night at the movies.
This week features the newest installment of the Twilight saga, entitled 'New Moon.' Location: Ballard Park, Hazard Road. Time: dusk. Cost: free. Information: visit www.ballardpark.org.
