Emerson's first Screenwriting Industry Night of the Spring 2013 semester will feature a showing of the award-winning documentary ASHBASH: A LOVE STORY to be followed with a Q&A with the filmmaker, Heidi Sullivan, and the film's star, Ashley Norwood.

The 'uplifting', 'thought-provoking', and 'laugh-out-loud funny' film - which was shot mostly in Boston - centers on a single woman (Ashley) and her decision to celebrate her single life by inviting 200 guests to the Boston Harbor Hotel and throwing herself the wedding reception she never had (the legendary 'AshBash') - and turning it into a family talent show.

The film features the art of Emmy-award-winning Bonnie Timmons ('Caroline in the City') and the original music of local jazz great Rusty Scott.

You can view the trailer - and read more about the film - on its website: www.ashbashmovie.com or on Facebook: www.facebook.com/AshBashMovie

This event is FREE and open to the public.
