This 1931 movie classic is the most famous horror film of all time.

When brilliant but deranged Dr. Frankenstein (Colin Clive) attempts to create life out of the organs of dead bodies, a grotesque, pitiful monster (Boris Karloff) is born.

Screenwriter Robert Florey devised the now- famous plot twist in which the monster is accidentally given a madman's brain, adding additional terror to Mary Shelley's original dark and foreboding tale.
