The Concord Film Project Presents: Le Chef
Directed by Daniel Cohen, this 2012 French comedy starring Jean Reno and Michaël Youn finds veteran chef Alexandre Lagarde (Reno) of the renowned restaurant Cargo Lagarde facing a plot by the restaurant’s own CEO to lower its rating and make way for a new chef who specializes in chemically enhanced cuisine.
Amid cuts to his kitchen staff and a lack of culinary inspiration, Lagarde meets Jacky Bonnot (Youn), a creative, young, self-taught cook who may have just what it takes to impress the critics and save Lagarde’s career.
Rated PG-13
Doors open at 6:30 PM and the film begins at 7:30 PM.
Tickets are $10 and include a bag of popcorn.
