The Concord Film Project Presents Belle and Sebastian
Directed by Nicolas Vanier, the film tells the story of a boy named Sebastian and Belle, the stray mountain sheepdog he befriends although the local farmers believe her to be the mysterious “beast” that has been menacing their flocks.
This story of friendship is set in a village in the French Alps during the WWII occupation of France, where Nazis are searching for resistance fighters who are helping Jewish refugees flee the country.
In French with English subtitles.
Doors open at 6:30 PM and the film begins at 7:30 PM.
Tickets are $10 and include a bag of popcorn.
