Fenway Park would hold a screening of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on June 29th to honor the film’s pearl anniversary. The movie will be shown on the center field video board.The gates open at Fenway at 7 p.m. with an 8:15 movie start time.Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
The classic 80's movie centers around Ferris Bueller, who, according to the press release, is “a teen who feigns illness in order to skip school and spend a carefree day exploring Chicago with his friends.” The film is rated PG-13.
The John Hughes movie stars Matthew Broderick as Ferris Buellers (also Abe Froman), Alan Ruck as his best friend Cameron (also George Peterson), and Mia Sara as Ferris’ girlfriend, Sloane, Jeffrey Jones (Ed Rooney), and Jennifer Grey (Jeannie Bueller).
