MFA Film: The Princess Bride
Featuring an all-star cast, including Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, Chris Sarandon, Mandy Patinkin, Billy Crystal and Christopher Guest, 'The Princess Bride' is an almost inconceivable delight.
Tickets to the screening are $9 for MFA members and $11 for nonmembers, while general Museum admission is free all evening after 4 pm—plenty of time to explore special exhibitions and the encyclopedic collection!
Taste, a café located right outside the theater, will offer special concessions—including Tru-Wuv Truffles, Princess Buttercups and Fire Swamp Cocktails—for you to enjoy during the film.
Looking to grab a fancy cocktail before the screening?
Swing by Bravo restaurant in the Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art for a special Valentine's Day menu.
Additional activities at the Museum taking place during the evening include Drawing in the Galleries, Spotlight Talks on 'Friends and Lovers' featured in the exhibition '(un)expected families' and an artist demonstration on tessellations by Michael Wilson, inspired by the exhibition 'M.C. Escher: Infinite Dimensions.'
