2022 Manhattan Short Film Festival @ New Bedford Whaling Museum
The theater will complement the art, history, science and culture on view in the museum’s exhibits, with visually stunning 20-minute 3D movies.
These upgrades to the Cook Memorial Theater will make it the first and only 3D theater on the SouthCoast.
Beyond showing short ecologically-centered films, there is another eco-friendly component: the theater’s 3D glasses will be reusable.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Museum or online.
The theater will also host special events, and the first is the MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival.
Film lovers in New Bedford join over 100,000 film enthusiasts around the world during the week of Sept 22 - Oct 2 when the 25th Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival screens the Final Ten Oscar-qualifying short films at Cook Memorial Theater (September 29 @ 6:00PM).
