Film Screening: ParaNorman
The film follows the adventures of a misunderstood small-town boy named Norman, who can communicate with the dead.
When his town is under threat from zombies — as well as ghosts, witches and even grown-ups, Norman has to look inside himself to find the hero he was always meant to become.
Before or after the screening, view a diorama of a prop van from the set — one of eight created for the film.
Following the screening, join ParaNorman production designer Nelson Lowry for a Q&A moderated by acclaimed American film critic Ty Burr.
This special anniversary event is a homecoming for Lowry whose childhood in Salem, Mass., inspired the movie’s fictional ‘Blithe Hollow’ setting.
ParaNorman also screens on Sunday, October 23, from 2–5 pm.
