Join the New Bedford Whaling Museum as we learn how to save the species amongst the most challenging forces in The Last of the Right Whales film, produced and directed by Nadine Pequeneza of HitPlay Productions.
Find out why North Atlantic right whales are dying faster than they can reproduce, follow their rarely seen migration, and the people committed to saving a species still struggling to recover from centuries of hunting.
Screening will take place in the museum’s Cook Memorial Theater from 6:00 - 7:30 pm with a panel discussion to follow from 7:30 - 8:15 pm (panelists range from a Naval Warfare Center Division leader to a Sandwich-based lobsterman.) Tickets must be purchased in advance ($5 for museum members, and $10 for non-members).
