Join Revolutionary Spaces for a screening of the film How to Blow Up a Pipeline, loosely inspired by the Andreas Malm manifesto of the same name.

The film follows a crew of young environmental activists as they execute a daring mission to sabotage an oil pipeline in West Texas.

It explores the use of property damage as activist tactics and the moral consequences of such decisions.

How to Blow Up a Pipeline premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, receiving critical acclaim.

Following the screening, there will be a discussion and Q&A with director Daniel Goldhaber, who will explore the legacy of property destruction as a means of protest in America and its connection to the Boston Tea Party.

This screening celebrates the opening of Revolutionary Spaces' newest exhibition, Impassioned Destruction: Politics, Vandalism, and the Boston Tea Party, which will be on view beginning on July 1, 2023.

This program is free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of The Lowell Institute.

Guests are invited to view the new exhibit free of charge at the Old State House from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM, followed by the film screening at the Old South Meeting House at 7:00 PM.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
