Join us for our annual Movie Nights on the Lawn series!

Every Thursday evening in July, we're hosting a movie night on our seaside lawn.

We proclaim this the 'Summer of Spielberg!'

The schedule is:
* July 6: Jaws (1975)
* July 13: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)
* July 20: Hook (1991)
* July 27: E.T.

The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

Bring a picnic dinner and a blanket, as these events are carry-in/carry-out & lawn seating.  Doors open at 6pm, movies start at sundown (approx. 8pm.) Concessions will be available for purchase.

In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be moved inside the Great Hall.

Hammond Castle Museum Member benefits apply.

These events are very popular.

80 Hesperus Avenue, Gloucester, MA, 01930 map
Phone: 9782832080

Heavy traffic should be considered when planning your travel time. Take I-95 North out of Boston to Exit 45, then route 128 North to Exit 14. Turn right onto Route 133 to the very end of that highway, and with the ocean directly in front of you turn right onto Route 127. Approximately 3/4 of a mile from that intersection the road will begin to narrow. Look for a blue and white sign on your left for the castle, and turn onto Hesperus Avenue. The castle is just a few blocks down Hesperus Avenue on your left. Park in the lot off the street, and take the walkway and stairs down to the entrance.

Hammond Castle Museum is also accessible by Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA). To learn more, visit canntran.com.
