The object of Health Kids Day is to make children aware of healthy options - eating and exercising - and taking care of themselves. The YMCA will be opened to the public from 1 to 4pm on April 18th and holding a 'scavenger hunt' type of format that encourages the children and their parents to visit all of the options available to them at Boston Ballet School and the Lynch/ van Otterloo YMCA.

Different stations such as massage therapists, dentists, Marblehead police with car safety, nutritional foods, as well as activities to visit and participate in - an obstacle course in the gymnastics center, plies at Boston Ballet School, exercise in the gym, a lap to swim in the pool, jump roping upstairs, climb the rock wall will be provided.

Each activity that is visited and completed, the child gets a stamp on their sheet and a prize!
