The Michael Galperin Combat SAMBO Martial Art School was founded 31 years ago by Grand Master Galperin, an instructor with many decades of Martial Art experience. SAMBO is a Russian Martial Art. Its name is an acronym for “Self-Defense Without Weapons” (in Russian, Samooborona bez Oruzhiia). SAMBO is a system designed to prepare individuals to effectively defend themselves in any dangerous situation.

At our Open House, our instructors will be offering a demonstration of various Combat SAMBO techniques. You will also have the opportunity to observe our Children's class in action. There are prizes to be won at our registration desk, and cupcakes and other treats await you!

Please note: Our school has THREE locations, in Newton, Needham and Westwood. The Open House will take place at our NEWTON location.
