Tai Chi is an internal martial art which originated in China and is widely practiced for health, exercise and relaxation benefits. It develops breathing, flexibility and endurance. It also promotes balance and concentration. Routine practice reduces stress and promotes integration of mind, body and spirit. Huan's main Tai Chi teacher are his father, Lu Ping Zhang and master Xie Bin Can.


Beginner Tai Chi Class
Time: Thursdays 7:30-8:45 pm

Description: This Class will start with warm up and Qi Kung exercise. It will then guide you through the first set of Yang Style Tai Chi. (fifteen movements). It concentrates on Tai Chi fundamentals:

Foot and hands positions
Smooth transitions between movements
How to achieve body balancing
How to relax while move
How to make good body alignment
How to coordinate each part of your body while doing important move such as single whip and brush peacock's tail
This class will get you a basic but solid understanding of starting Tai Chi. This class will concentrate on health purpose
