Hot off the griddle Blueberry Pancakes, syrup, bacon or sausage, juice, coffee or milk served outside under tents. Free pie eating contest, categories for kids and adults.
For some, the quintessential Summer event is a Blueberry Pancake Breakfast and Verrill Farm combines its breakfast with another top pick - a pie eating contest.
The event has become so popular that there are separate contests for kids and adults and whether competing or cheering someone on everyone has a great time!
9:00 AM - noon: Breakfast is served!
$7.50 per person, $4.50 for kids under 10
Features freshly made blueberry pancakes cooked on griddles outside beside the farm stand, Massachusetts maple syrup, bacon/sausage, juice and milk or coffee.
• 11:00 AM: Blueberry Pie eating contest - Free
Enter when you arrive.
There is no fee and the rules are simple: just bring your appetite, the first to finish an 8” pie - no hands allowed - wins!
All ages welcome - enter either the adult or child category.
