Filipino Tapas Dinner
We're recognizing our Spanish heritage this month and offering a coursed tapas menu.
Like our friends in the Americas, the Spanish influenced many aspects of Filipino life -- religion, style, culture, and of course, food.
We're repurposing the tapas experience, making it ours and bringing you a seven course tasting menu that we hope is both exploratory and accessible!
Saveur describes the tapeo (essentially a tapas-bar crawl) as 'a giant soirée and movable feast to which everyone is invited...
[the tapeo] invents itself as it goes along: conversations with strangers, spontaneous introductions, the unexpected appearance of an old friend or ex-lover...Anything can happen on a tapeo, and often does.' In keeping with the spontaneous joviality of the tapeo, the nature of the transient Pamangan!
pop-up allows you to meet strangers who you feel comfortable sharing food and conversation, forging connections that last for a night and beyond.
