Firefly's BBQ and Wachusett Brewing pair up for beer dinner
Firefly's BBQ of Marlborough, a dine-in restaurant and New England's largest barbecue caterer, and award-winning Wachusett Brewing Company of Westminster Mass. are presenting a special event at Firefly's BBQ that pairs five great Wachusett brews with five courses of Firefly's restaurant menu items.
The event will be held on April 17th starting at 6:30 p.m. at Firefly's BBQ, 350 East Main Street Marlborough.
The five courses will include: Pimento Cheese Spread, Smoked Texas Beef Sausage paired with Mass Soul, Wachusett's 'soulful IPA'; Spring Salad with sweet cashews, cranberries and blue cheese paired with Wachusett's Brewin' beer, an American pale ale; Louisiana Crawfish Boil (with Andouille sausage, new potatoes and corn) paired with Wachusett's Country Pale Ale; Smoked Mojo Pork Chop with mint chimichurri sauce paired nicely with Wachusett's 'Wally' signature New England IPA, and lastly, handmade donuts with an array of dipping sauces paired with Wachusett's 'The Fergal Project' - a New England Stout and the first beer in the brewery's 1794 series created with renowned Irish Master Brewer Fergal Murray.
