Savor the Square: A Celebration of Rozzie Food!

Roslindale, MA – Roslindale invites food lovers citywide to Savor the Square, a special one-night fundraiser for Roslindale Village Main Street that celebrates Roslindale’s restaurants and food establishments.
Savor the Square will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at St.
Nectarios Church at 39 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale.
This event showcases Roslindale’s amazing restaurants, bringing together new and long-time residents, neighbors, and local businesses for a fun night of local food, drinks, live jazz music featuring local Roslindale resident and drummer, Zeke Martin, and a raffle for wonderful prizes.
Restaurants will prepare a signature bite, in exchange for purchased taste tickets.
“The evening will have a bright and friendly atmosphere designed to encourage attendees to walk around and mingle with neighbors and business owners as they enjoy small bites,” states RVMS Executive Director Alia Hamada Forrest.
Participating restaurants so far include: 753 South & Delfino Restaurant, Birch Street Bistro, Boston Cheese Cellar, Chilacates, Jimmies Cafe, La Taqueria, Las Palmas, Napper Tandy’s Roslindale, The Pleasant Cafe, Shaking Seafood, Shanti Restaurant, Sophia’s Grotto, The Square Root, and Village Sushi & Grill.
All proceeds support Roslindale Village Main Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Roslindale Village as an appealing destination and the dynamic center of our community.

RVMS was established in 1985 as the first urban Main Street Program in the nation.
