Kiddos in the Kitchen: February Vacation!
Spend school vacation week in the Powisset Kitchen and cook up a storm! Each day, for three hours, children will learn kitchen basics and enjoy hands-on cooking with Powisset Cooks! Instructors.
At the end of each session, we’ll join together at the table and enjoy eating what we’ve prepared.
Every day will be different, covering a range of cooking techniques and incorporating a variety of ingredients from the farm.
Menus are created to celebrate each day of the week:
Muffin Monday! (Three different muffins – blackberry lemon, coffeecake, chocolate zucchini. Plus a surprise drink.)
Taco Tuesday! (Homemade tortillas, beef & vegetable tacos, queso, salsa, guacamole, and Churros!)
Waffle Wednesday! (Savory chicken & waffles, roasted potatoes, Sweet waffles with fruit compote and whipped cream or homemade butter)
Tasty Thai Thursday! (Pad Thai, Spring rolls and Khanom Kleeb Lamduan -Thai shortbread cookies)
This drop-off class is designed for children ages 7-12.
Class is limited to 10 students to allow for social distancing.
Pre-registration is required 2 days prior to a class or event.

Cancellation Policy: In the event that a program is canceled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund or transfer into another program within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. We offer transfers to other classes or events with 48 hours cancellation of the class.
