The Art of Poaching – Adult Cooking Class
Poaching is not just for eggs!The culinary technique of poaching is defined as “a way of cooking by putting food in gently boiling water or other liquid,” and is considered a healthy, fresh, and bright option for preparing many foods.
In this hands-on class in the Powisset Kitchen, our own Chef Thi will introduce you to the art of poaching.
You’ll create a variety of poached dishes to incorporate into your culinary repertoire, including Butter Poached Radishes with Lemon Gremolata, Poached Chicken with Scallion Ginger Sauce, and Poached Egg on Toast with Hollandaise Sauce.
Included in this class:
Cooking demonstration and hands-on learning experience.
Instruction from an experienced, top-notch instructor.
Recipes to take home.
At the end of each class, the opportunity to enjoy the food you created.
If you would like to bring an adult beverage to class, please feel free.
Pre-registration is required.
Registration closes 24 hours prior to class.
Minimum of 6 people required for class to take place.
