The Skating Club of Boston is looking forward to another season of fun on the ice at the Frog Pond! Come down to skate and have some fun kicking off the 2023-2024 season.The Skating Club of Boston manages and operates the Boston Common Frog Pond. The Frog Pond features public skating, lessons, rentals, Frog Pond Café, and a warming area.
Frog Pond hours of operation are Sunday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (except Monday when the rink closes at 4 p.m.), Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, Christmas Eve 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., New Year’s Eve 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and New Year's Day 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Regular admission price is based on skater’s height 58-inches and over: $6.00 Under 58-inches: free.
Skate Rentals
Adult men/women: $15.00
Kids: $10.00
Sizes: 8T all the way up to a men’s 15
Lockers are available for $7.
Skate Sharpening
$12.00 per pair
Bobby the Skating Seal
$18.00/hour
Skating aids for children who are learning to skate.
