The SMILE Sudbury playground project is having a Play-A-Thon fundraiser at the Longfellow Club in Wayland on Saturday, January 31st from 1 to 3 PM. The $25 per participant donation will allow children to play, jump and swim for two hours using a variety of equipment and materials. Participants do not have to be club members.
SMILE stands for Simple Mobility In Learning Environments and all proceeds will go towards the development of the first handicapped-accessible playground in Sudbury.
