Mothers and daughters can now bond on the trials of New Hampshire’s White Mountains while also participating in a unique fundraising event – the Wilderness Heals Annual Pledge Hike. The three-day Pledge Hike is one of New England’s most challenging all-female fundraising hikes and it benefits the women and families receiving services for domestic violence, mental illness, substance abuse and other forms of trauma at Elizabeth Stone House in Boston.

The new Front Country trail option is open to mother-daughter teams. Women who have daughters between the ages of 12 and 17 can register for this option that offers more manageable trails for those who are new to hiking. Wilderness Heals offers four additional trail options for individual participants.

Mother-daughter teams will stay at AMC’s Joe Dodge Lodge each night. Each team will include an experienced team leader.
