On Saturday May 9th the Butternut Farm Golf Club in Stow will be the site of a gala fundraiser from 6:30-11p.m. to benefit SMILE Sudbury and its effort to build a totally accessible playground at Haskell Field.
The evening will consist of a cocktail hour (starting at 6:30 p.m.) with silent auction, followed by dinner (at 8 p.m.) and the live auction (beginning at 8:30).
Entertainment will be provided by two Boston area comedians and, in keeping with the comedic spirit of the event, the 'house band' for the evening will be the Boston Typewriter Orchestra.
Just some of the auction items available are:

- a chance to ride in the Sudbury 4th of July Parade on a brand new ten-wheeler truck from Sudbury Public Works
- a harbor seal training package at the N.E. Aquarium

Our goal is to break ground at Haskell Field in August and to install all of the playground equipment at that time. The success of this event will bring us very close to reaching our goal of raising $200,000!
