The SSEAC would like to kick off the school year with our first annual yard sale! Saturday, September 26th from 9am to 4pm at 117 Warren Road (corner of Warren and Raymond) in Sudbury. We will have a variety of furniture (arm chairs, glider for nursery, lamps), sports equipment (rowing machine, inline skates, girls soccer cleats and shin guards), adorable children's clothing, linens, toys for all ages – something for everyone! Raindate will be Sunday, September 27th from 11am to 3pm.

The SSEAC’s fundraising efforts will support public service programs such as presentations on the newest research and strategies for children’s learning disabilities, executive functioning skills, building self-esteem in your child, basic rights for children under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and much, much more! The SSEAC is a positive and solution-oriented parent advisory council. We act as a resource and advisor to parents and educators of children with disabilities in the Sudbury K-8 schools. The SSEAC also works collaboratively with school and district officials to improve special education in Sudbury. The SSEAC is self-funded and strives to promote communication and programs within the Sudbury and surrounding communities to encourage understanding, acceptance, and inclusion.
