New England Patriots offensive tackle Matt Light, champion for youth and founder of the Light Foundation, invites football fans to tackle x% extra savings on fall athletic apparel shopping to benefit 7,000 local youth football players and cheerleaders. Opened in spring 2009, the Champion store is a proud sponsor of the Hockomock Pop Warner League’s 2009 season.
Light is a true team player and champion. In his eight seasons with the Patriots, Light has played in six division championships, two Pro-Bowls and has helped the team win four conference titles and three Super Bowl crowns. At this year’s home opener, Light was named to a spot on the Patriots’ 50th Anniversary Team.
The fun evening will kick off with Light’s one-hour appearance, giveaways with Mix 104.1, and an extra savings that evening only. Fans are invited to show their team’s spirit by wearing town colors or Pop Warner shirts for a chance to win a $100 Champion store giftcard. All Champion store sales during event hours will be tallied by town, and a percentage of sales will be donated back to local Pop Warner youth football teams and cheer squads (Hockomock League only).
