Pampering with a Purpose To Benefit the North Suburban Family Network

Women are busy taking care of everyone but themselves. Take some time to pamper yourself and spend time with family and friends. Show your support for the North Suburban Family Network (NSFN) on Sunday, May 2nd by enjoying a ladies day of fun, relaxation, food and a spring fashion show at the third annual “Pampering with a Purpose” event.

The place to be pampered will be at the Oak Grove Village Clubhouse, 12 Island Hill Ave., (off Main Street) in Melrose from 1 to 5 p.m. Specialty services such as massages, waxing, manicures, fake eyelashes and makeup consultations will be available for a small additional fee. Alfalfa Farms Winery from Topsfield will be hosting a wine tasting. This year’s fashion show will offer a twist. Ashley Judge, owner of Tra Tutti, an on-line consignment shop, will be adorning our models. Ashley carries name brand clothes and prides herself on giving back to local charities from each sale she makes. We will also be featuring maternity wear from Chulamama, a maternity and baby boutique in Danvers owned and operated by Heather Roman and Noelle Moren. Wired Wrapped Designs by Jessie Waisnor will provide jewelry for models. State Representative Katherine Clark will be modeling and WCVB's SmartRoutes reporter, Cindy Campbell will be the emcee.

Tickets are $30 and are available by calling the NSFN at 781-662-2722, or on the Hallmark Health website at www.hallmarkhealth.org. Simply click on the “Pampering with a Purpose” icon. Buy your tickets early; last year’s event was a sell out!

The NSFN is a community benefits program of Hallmark Health, providing education and support programs for families and caregivers with children from birth through entering kindergarten. Though housed in Melrose, the programs offered by NSFN are available to families throughout Melrose, Stoneham and Wakefield. For additional information on the NSFN, visit www.hallmarkhealth.org/northsuburban.html.
