Shot in a hand-held, guerilla documentary-style, the film captures the visceral, in-your-face staging and music that got Boston’s opera community buzzing. Composed by Rudolf Rojahn and directed by Copeland Woodruff, three-time winner of the NOA Best Production Award, the filmed performance provides an opportunity to experience this unique piece again and again.
Following the screening, you’re invited to join the composer, ensemble, and honored guest, star of Opera Boston’s Cardillac, Grammy & Emmy Award winning baritone, Sanford Sylvan, for an hour of cocktails, appetizers, and socializing. There will also be a raffle where guests can win several exciting prizes including tickets to a performance of Opera Boston’s Cardillac!
