The 2011 Literary Light are: Dan Okrent, Ron Powers, Lydia Diamond, Paul Harding, Ann Hood, Thomas Cook, Stephen Burt, and Barbara Lynch. Their awards will be presented by: David Gergen, Megan Marshall, Paula Vogel, Christopher Lydon, Tom Perrotta, William Martin, Dan Chiasson, and Christopher Kimball. Dan Okrent (Nonfiction Writer and author of Last Call) will be the Keynote Speaker.
In addition to celebrating the accomplishments of these eight New England writers, the evening will raise money for the David McCullough Conservation Fund and the programs, services and collections of the Boston Public Library. The Associates created the McCullough Fund in 2001 to help preserve the Boston Public Library’s precious treasures.
