Room to Grow will be joined by notable Bostonians and community leaders at its annual Fall Gala on November 5 at the Boston Public Library to celebrate the extraordinary efforts of parents who overcome the challenges of raising babies in poverty.

Room to Grow will honor T. Berry Brazelton, MD, one of the world’s foremost authorities on pediatrics and child development. Room to Grow founder Julie Burns and her husband, award winning filmmaker Ken Burns, are chairing the event, with local TV legend Mary Richardson taking the stage to emcee the inspirational program.

The festive event also includes dinner and an auction full of sports, travel and dining experiences. The Room to Grow Fall Gala is the nonprofit organization’s largest fundraising event of the year to benefit parents raising babies in poverty with one-on-one parenting support and essential baby items for the child’s critical first three years of life.
