Things kick off at 6:30pm with the energetic music and movement performance of Mister Vic (ages 0-5), while older kids can select a fun (discounted) pottery painting project and hear spooky monster and goblin tales. Costumes encouraged!
At 7:30, hear brief remarks by Diane DiRoma of The Republic of Tea (a long-term Room to Read partner), who’ll speak about her travels to a Room to Read school in Sri Lanka earlier this year. Attendees can browse the array of raffle prizes, and shop for the upcoming holiday season.
All purchases will support Room to Read’s efforts to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Join Us! All events are free; pottery painting discounted for attendees.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
