Teams of up to six adults can bowl for a good cause at this event hosted by Project Bread, a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating, preventing, and ultimately ending hunger in Massachusetts.

Thousands of Massachusetts residents cannot afford food. In these tough economic times, more and more people are struggling to pay for the necessities of life, including rent, medical care, and meals. Money raised through Project Bread’s Strike Out Hunger will help those people have food on their tables in the upcoming winter months.

Strike Out Hunger is an 18+ event that will feature a raffle with exciting prizes, free light snacks, and, of course, bowling. Each team will complete a full game and can have multiple lanes if they meet the fundraising minimum of $650 for each one. Prizes will be awarded to teams and individuals at the end of the evening.

To register, first recruit teammates, who can be friends, family members, and co-workers, and then go to www.projectbread.org/strikeouthunger. Each bowler must pay a $20 registration fee, which covers bowling shoes. Once you raise $650 or more as a team, join Project Bread for a fun event that makes a big difference in the lives of your neighbors.
