The lineup includes new Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine, “2011 Red Sox Minor League Pitcher of the Year” Alex Wilson, Red Sox 2010 number one pick Kolbrin Vitek, and Sean Coyle, who SoxProspects.com named as the Rookie of the Year in 2011. *Players are subject to change.
Event proceeds will benefit the Jimmy Fund and the Pedro Martinez and Brothers Foundation. Tickets for News Stars for Young Stars are available at www.jimmyfund.org/new-stars. MVP tickets are sold out.
Fan tickets are available for $150 each and include entry for ticket holder and guest, only ticket holder is allowed to get autographs from attending Red Sox players.
A buffet lunch will be served and sports memorabilia will be on sale. In addition, there will be an opportunity drawing, silent auction and bowling to help strike out cancer.
