Join the fight against blood cancer by participating in the Light The Night Walk. Light The Night is the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to millions of people with cancer.

Hosted by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, teams of friends, families and co-workers raise funds for blood cancer research—which has led or contributed to major advances in cancer treatment for over 60 years.

Walkers gather in cities and towns across the U.S. and Canada and walk a two-mile course in twilight, holding twinkling balloons—white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost.

More than a walk, the evening includes music, food and family festivities. Proceeds from Light The Night support LLS’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

In 2011, over $1.37 million was raised in the Massachusetts Chapter, contributing to the $50 million raised nationally. To view a video of the Walk, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCeSAItywzE. For more information and to register, please go to http://www.lightthenight.org/ma.
