In order to help families provide for their children's holiday wish list, women and men from the local area are hosting the Sunday, December 9th 1:00-4:00 event at The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Dorchester, MA. This event is open to all!
The Salvation Army Kroc Center will be decorated in a festive way for a huge party with food (pot luck), music and fun activities for the children, including swimming. There will be a $5.00 per person or 10.00 per family admission fee to help defray costs. Donations of goods will be collected at the event, wrapped and labeled, then delivered afterwards in a rented truck to the sponsored charities.
This year the sponsored charities are Transition House, The Wish Project, Cradles-to-Crayons, Nashua Children’s Home, Jewish Family and Children’s Services. Operation ELF co-founder Sarah Blumenstock Girrell stated, 'All of the charities that we have selected to support are family and children-focused, which fits our community's commitment to making the world a better place for children.'
How to Sponsor a Child: You can get matched up with a child and buy an item from their wish list or donate a gift card that will be given to the child. 35$-50$ buys a gift for one child. Please be a sponsor and help these kids have an unforgettable holiday. Contacts to sponsor:

The women and men that are hosting this annual event believe in living by a higher purpose, of providing service to others, and of expressing gratitude by giving back to the local community.
