Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's annual evening fundraising walking campaign to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Each fall, teams of friends, families and co-workers gather in cities and towns across America. They walk in twilight, holding illuminated balloons--white for survivors and red for supporters. More than a walk, the evening includes music, food and family activities.

More than 747,000 Americans have leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Every five minutes, someone new is diagnosed. Every 10 minutes someone dies. As a nonprofit, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations to fund its lifesaving research and patient information and support programs.

On Wednesday, July 26th we are kicking off our Light The Night campaign at Game On!, a sports bar located on Lansdowne Street, right near Fenway Park. The event will take place from 6pm-8pm. Anyone interested in participating in this years Light The Night Walk (scheduled for Thursday, September 28th) is welcome to attend this kick-off party.
