Working towards a future where no parent or child has to live without a place to call home, Families of Inspiration is a one-day annual celebration that brings together the families and children served by One Family, Parents and children living in shelters, and the organization’s many supporters to highlight the needs of our most vulnerable community members, while raising funds and awareness for One Family’s mission to end family homelessness in Massachusetts.

This year’s event takes place at Belkin Family Lookout Farm; highlights include:
Live music performance by Josh & the Jamtones, New England’s top rock ‘n roll family band Train rides, face painting, magic acts, and balloon artists Cookie decorating with Dancing Deer Baking Company Family-style BBQ dinner

This year, Families of Inspiration honors Simone Winston of Winston Flowers with One Family’s Community Leadership Award in honor of her commitment to improving the lives of homeless families throughout the Commonwealth.

Simone’s philanthropic efforts, in partnership with her husband Ted, have supported many area charities and educational organizations that help both children and families.

Additionally, Winston Flowers sponsors Charity in Bloom, a monthly program that donates 20% of sales from a specialty floral arrangement to a local charity; One Family has been the February benefactor of the program for the past two years.
